Wirral – Gambling Harms Needs Assessment Interviews

Posted 09/10/2026

Public Health Wirral is carrying out research to better understand the lived experience of gambling-related harms in Wirral.

As part of this work they are keen to speak to individuals living or working in the Wirral who have experienced gambling harms, either through their own gambling or through being impacted by another’s gambling.

By agreeing to participate in semi-structured and informal interviews, conducted either remotely or in-person to suit the participant, you will be helping the Public Health Qualitative Insight Team to build a comprehensive and lived experience informed view of how gambling impacts Wirral residents.

The interviews will last between 45 and 90 minutes each, and you will be able to withdraw consent or participation at any time up until 7 days after the interview.

All data, other than around consent, will be anonymised before feeding into the Gambling Harms Needs Assessment resource.

Participants will be offered a £25 shopping voucher for use with common High street brands.
