GLEN are holding an evening of discussion talking about how the looming end of the football season can be a time of increased stress and anxiety for those who have come to associate football with a vehicle for increasing gambling engagement.
Thursday 22nd May 7pm – 8.30pm Free to join.
We will hear from individuals who have been there themselves about how they coped with the close season, how their gambling behaviours changed, often leading to engagement in betting on different and less well known sports, following unknown foreign football leagues and teams, and also how a close season without any major international tournaments can be used as a window of opportunity to change harmful habits for the better.
Registration to attend is available by Eventbrite –> here
Please note: this event will be recorded for use in a future audio podcast.
