BIT Self Directed Tools and Strategies research project

The Behavioural Insights Team, along with Bournemouth University, are conducting a research project looking into how individuals impacted by another person’s harmful gambling view existing tools, self-directed support and strategies which are available to help the individual who is gambling to manage, reduce or stop their gambling.

Perhaps what sets this project apart from others is that the team are looking to learn from the experiences and perspectives not of the individual using these tools due to their own gambling but those impacted by those gambling behaviours as affected others.

If that is you, you are someone impacted by another person’s gambling, and you would like to add your own knowledge, understanding and suggestions as to what self-directed tools and support can be effective then the team would like to interview you.

Interviews will be help remotely and should last up to 45 minutes. Participants will be offered vouchers worth £40 for their involvement once the intervoiews are conducted.
