GLEN – Gambling Recovery: Tools, Apps and Self-directed Support
Thursday 24th September, 9.30am – 1pm
Gambling Lived Experience Network are hosting a half-day webinar looking at the role technology has in supporting individuals in stopping and recovering from harmful gambling.
This webinar will examine three different areas – starting with the Tools which are currently available to help someone stop gambling, then examining some of the self-directed information sources which can be accessed online to inform individuals about gambling harms and tips on how to self-manage recovery, before finally looking at some of the Apps which are currently available to support individuals during their recovery.
We are delighted to be joined on the day by representatives of GamBan, RecoverMe, GaimControl, and the Scottish Gambling Education Hub, as well as experts from both Lived Experience and Academia who will share their thoughts on technology aided recovery.
This event is free to access and will be useful to both individuals seeking information for themselves or for those close to them, and also for practitioners and other professionals in the gambling harms treatment and recovery sector.
